AAE College Hammer-Discus Cages are built to exceed NCAA standards, ensuring safety, durability, and compliance with record-keeping rules. The cages feature a secure main safety net that keeps flying implements from hitting the framework. Available in single-pad or dual-pad designs, they offer depth adjustments to meet different needs.The standard College Hammer-Discus (CHDC) model has a 20-foot main net height, while the Extended Height (CHDC-EH) model adds 4 feet for a total height of 24 feet. The NCAA Recommended Height Hammer-Discus Cage (CHDC-RH) model exceeds NCAA guidelines with a 30-foot main net and 33-foot swivel gates.The cages are made with aluminum posts that provide stability and durability, along with a 36" cantilevered offset. The gate frames feature a 3/8" thick rubber surface to protect the structure, and both the main and gate nets are made from double-ply, knotless nylon for strength.Optional backup nets are available for added safety, and dual swinging gates provide flexibility for different throwing events. Hammer Gate Wheel Locks keep gates in place to prevent accidental movement. The cage's heavy-duty aluminum frame and pivot posts ensure long-lasting performance, and it includes aluminum ground sleeves for easy installation and removal.
