College Pit Form System
College Pit Form System with Sand Storage Compartment (PFS-NCAA-SSC)
AAE's College Pit Form System offers durable construction, innovative design, and versatile features without the need for concrete. Assembly is simple: construct the form system, level it, backfill, and add sand. The outer walls are made of 12-gauge galvanized steel, while the inner walls are constructed from 12-gauge stainless steel. Aluminum cross beams reinforce the form for optimal support, and stainless steel finishing caps enclose the entire pit, designed to accommodate a poured synthetic surface. Corner support brackets on both the inside and outside provide maximum stability. The edges are resistant to gouging from spikes, unlike softer aluminum and synthetic forms. An optional sand storage compartment, featuring a ledge that separates the main pit from the storage area, is available. Additionally, an optional aluminum pit cover with a 3/8" recessed top can be used for on-site application of synthetic track surface or turf. The overall pit dimensions are 30'-11" x 10'-0" (3.05m x 9.44m).
