AAE's College Pit Form System with Sand Catcher provides a concrete-free solution with easy sand retrieval. Assembly is simple: construct the form system, level it, backfill, and add sand. Constructed from durable 12-gauge galvanized steel and reinforced with aluminum beams, it features solid aluminum sand catcher trays that collect any sand escaping from the pit for easy reuse. The recessed trays are designed to accommodate a 3/8" contractor-applied synthetic track surface, with an optional perforated rubber surface available for factory application. An optional aluminum pit cover with a 3/8" recessed top can be used for on-site application of synthetic track surface or turf. The overall pit dimensions are 30'-11" x 10'-0" (3.05m x 9.44m).
