Amvic Inc, with our policy of continuous innovation and product improvement is pleased to introduce two new Extra Large (XL) 90 degree corners in our Standard Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) series.The new 90 degree standard XL corners incorporates many of the proven, patented innovations of our recently introduce Amvic “Plus” 3.30 Series. Available in both a 6” and 8” concrete core size, the new XL corners are now 8 square feet of surface area, with a 48” x 24” x 16’ size configuration.The new 90 Degree XL corner incorporates two diagonal cross ties, one on either side, along with the radius formed corner these features virtually eliminate the chance of blow out while pouring concrete in the normally stressful corner area. The corner cross ties also incorporate two 8 1/2” x 2” attachment areas every 8” on center for exterior siding and other exterior finishes, plus if there is a requirement to use a half block the attachment strip is still incorporated in the half block.The New Amvic Standard 90 degree XL corners join the rest of the Amvic ICF line up as the strongest ICF blocks in the industry, according to the CCMC form capacity test.They also incorporate the Amvic FormLockTM interlocking system which ensures a tight and secure interlock between the forms due to the 1” deep grooves that virtually align themselves, with 6” on center cross tie spacing thus providing greater strength without the need for gluing or taping.
