The soil nail wall system consisted of approximately 10,960 square feet of permanent hillside stabilization constructed to create additional usable land for hospital parking at Bellevue Hospital in Nebraska. The system included both straight and radius wall segments and reached heights of up to 36 feet.           .The hospital initially desired a traditional form-liner ashlar finish; however, the cost exceeded the project budget. As a cost-saving alternative that would also reduce the construction schedule, Boulderscape proposed its proprietary M23 Bellevue Ashlar architectural shotcrete finish. The hospital approved this approach, and on-site mockups were created and reviewed to establish the final texture, scale, and appearance prior to full installation.    ,The complexity of the finish required ACI-certified nozzlemen and experienced artisans to place the shotcrete with precise control to achieve straight, flat wall surfaces.
