Children stand on the rubber-coated platforms, grip the handles and shift their body weight to produce the classic "seesaw" motion. The fully-enclosed rubber spring mechanism creates a smooth gliding motion and prevents abrupt stops and starts endemic to old-fashioned seesaws.
