Haddonstone was delighted to contribute to the creation of a romantic French-inspired garden in California, designed to evoke timeless elegance and classical European charm.The garden was thoughtfully designed by Janey Santos of Dig, Plant, Water, Repeat, in collaboration with renowned landscape designer Michael Glassman. Together, they envisioned a refined outdoor space that balances structure, symmetry, and soft planting to create a truly romantic setting.Central to the design are two distinctive Haddonstone features: the Dauphin Fountain with Lion Mask and the Haddonstone Wall Fountain. These cast stone water feature designs serve as elegant focal points, reinforcing the classical French aesthetic while introducing the calming presence of water into the garden.Each element was handcrafted to order at Haddonstone’s facility in Pueblo, Colorado, using the company’s TecStone material in a classic Portland color finish. This combination ensures both durability and the authentic appearance of traditional, natural stone.The result is a beautifully composed garden that captures the essence of French design; formal yet inviting, structured yet romantic. Through carefully selected details and expert landscaping, this project demonstrates how Haddonstone’s cast stone designs can elevate outdoor spaces into timeless works of art.
