The Facility Joia Ristorante & Wine Bar opened in Aurora in 1997 and has since established itself as a premiere fine dining Italian restaurant and wine bar. Recently expanding to bring authentic Italian food to the heart of Newmarket at Joia on Main, owners Marco and Eugenio offer only the finest in house made Italian ingredients. Marco and Eugenio travel to Italy frequently to enhance their menu with authentic Italian cuisine. The Heating Challenge With the patio season in Canada limited to a short period of the calendar year, it is imperative that restaurant customers are comfortable and kept warm while dining. To ensure that their customers’ dining experience would be a pleasant one, the team at Joia reached out to IR Energy to discuss their sleek, overhead commercial-grade heaters. Implementation Right from the start, it was a good move as this was not the first time that IR Energy teamed up with Joia’s patio structure manufacturer; Shade FX. To help provide a uniform and aesthetic design to the patio, IR Energy designed the Black model of their signature ventless heaters; the evenTUBE. Results The ETS heaters paired with the custom structure allow Joia on Main to offer outdoor dining regardless of the weather.
