This project is a perfect fusion of craftsmanship and innovation—combining the expertise of Lance Nill Inc. with the patented technology of Nill Building Solutions to restore the iconic Montauk Manor.Initially, Lance was brought in to coat the roof for waterproofing. However, during a meeting with the board and engineers, he proposed a more fitting solution: a new 20-ounce copper roof to restore the building’s historic elegance.That vision became reality. We fabricated and installed the copper panels on-site and used our patented Nill Building Solutions Mounts to attach and secure the cupola. The top most mount used, not only ensures structural stability but also serves as a lightning rod, anchored directly to the structure for safety and performance.
