Conner Prairie's Treetop Outpost is a 6,000-square-foot destination nestled in woods that allows families to interact with nature in new and meaningful ways. Featuring a giant, 4-story 45-foot-tall treehouse which is surrounded by special activity areas where guests of all ages can have fun investigating nature and its resources, dig in a re-created archaeology site, build log cabins, create art and fill the forest with music on the outdoor musical instruments. The great outdoors soaks up the cacophonies created on the Marimba, Conga Drums, Tembos so visitors can pound to their heart’s content! Treetop Outpost also includes a 30-foot suspension bridge and a connecting Nature Walk that leads visitors through the woods and along the White River to a prairie lookout.
