Pinhurst Resort needs landscaping that is attractive and durable through months of heavy guest traffic. It must also reflect the aesthetics of this historic property.In 2024 there was the additional challenge of hosting the U.S. Open Golf Tournement, and the construction of a completely new golf course. This new course was charged with looking completely different from formal golf courses with an emphasis on native selections.
