Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar is a staple in the Seattle Washington area. With three locations—Bothell, Everett Marina, and Bellingham—Lombardi’s founder Diane Symms knows a thing or two about the restaurant business. Which is why she knew, after 24 years, that her Everett Marina location was operating at capacity and needed an expansion strategy. Appreciating that people in the Pacific Northwest love being outdoors, Diane was sure this was the solution she was looking for. She was able to expand seating for a fraction of the cost of constructing a building addition. Guests can now dine outside, rain or shine or even in windy conditions. The screens and interlocking louvers keep the weather out and the comfort in. And, during warmer weather, the screens can be rolled up out of sight and the louvers can be adjusted for both airflow and shade. Bellissimo!
