Outdoor fitness equipment was originally founded in the parks & recreation space, but for us, apartment complexes and HOA communities has quickly become a popular market. In the case of Uptown 22 Apartments in West Palm Beach, FL, they were looking to install an outdoor gym in close proximity to the playground so that parents could exercise while their children played on the playground. Given its location, it was important for them to have durable equipment that would hold up to the salt water environment. Due to their diverse demographic, they wanted to create an outdoor gym that touched on all muscle groups, including upper body, lower body, and cardiovascular exercise so the following is what was installed – Combo Press & Pull, double Leg Press, Sit Up Board, Back Extension, Pull Up & Dip Station, Parallel Bars, Elliptical Cross Trainer, and Air Strider.
