Kafka Granite, LLC is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1979 by Glenn Kafka. With hard work, perseverance, innovation and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Kafka Granite has grown from their origin as a supplier of decomposed granite road material into one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of specialty aggregates and crushed stone in the United States. Their architectural aggregates, decomposed granite, boulders, and recycled products are used for many applications including, but not limited to, landscaping stone, architectural precast concrete, terrazzo flooring, epoxy resin tile, pathway and ballyard materials, and non-skid surfacing.

Kafka Granite provided a custom combination of Starlight Black Granite, Salt & Pepper Granite, and Snow White Granite Stabilized Pathway Mix for the campus of the American Greetings Headquarters in Westlake, Ohio. Kafka’s Stabilized Pathway Mix creates a firm, durable surface that is ADA compliant, while retaining water permeability and a natural look and feel.
