Scope of work:PlaySafe Canada was contracted to install PlaySafe Rubber Playground Surfacing at the newly redeveloped playground on Grandravine Drive in Toronto. The design utilized a combination of SBR base material and red EPDM wear layer, blended to create the look of a solid red surface while maintaining durability and impact performance.The install:Our team coordinated closely with the builder’s schedule as interlock paving and concrete curb work were being completed around the play area. Using our technical expertise, we provided on-site depth adjustment guidance to ensure the interlock and rubber surfacing were perfectly flush, achieving a seamless and professional finish.The result:The renewed playground now features a vibrant, resilient, and safe surface that complements the surrounding hardscape. The PlaySafe Rubber Playground system delivered both the visual impact and precise craftsmanship needed to bring the entire site together.
