Sprinturf replaced the existing synthetic turf field at Wilton High School, delivering a 79,500-square-foot multipurpose surface for the Wilton Warriors and the broader school community. Designed for football, lacrosse, field hockey, and daily athletic use, the field system combines Sprinturf UltraBlade DFE Extreme turf, Envirofill coated sand infill, and a Schmitz ProPlay 20 shock pad underlayment to support durability, consistent playability, impact attenuation, and reduced infill flyout under heavy use.The turf for Wilton’s field was manufactured in Sprinturf’s two U.S.-based facilities in Georgia and Alabama, giving the project stronger consistency, quality control, and production accountability. UltraBlade DFE Extreme features dual-fiber construction, pairing C8 monofilament fiber technology with a slit-film fiber system to help maintain performance, resilience, and field aesthetics over time. The field includes inlaid markings for multiple sports, custom Wilton end zones, a center-field Warriors logo, and a bold blue-and-green layout that gives the complex a strong athletic identity. Backed by material testing documentation, Sprinturf’s installation accountability, SprintCare aftercare support, and an eight-year limited warranty, the finished field gives Wilton athletes a reliable foundation to prepare, compete, and build confidence season after season.
